Though what keeps people coming back year after year are the immeasurable and indescribable facets of Italian culture, such as local traditions, lively festivals, and the warm nature and vivacity of the Italian people.

Blue Grotto

Blue Grotto

This is the most famous sight on Capri, where visitors from around the world form long queues to get a peek inside for just a few magical moments: we're talking about the Blue Grotto, of course. This natural cavern is 25 meters wide and 60 meters long, with a tiny entrance less than a meter high. To enter, visitors lay back in wooden rowboats and glide through the low cave mouth. Once inside, the boats bob in the dark, suspended on the surface of water so blue that it seems dream-like. Floating in the Grotta Azzurra is an experience that should be on any traveller's bucket list.

Hike the Path of Gods

The Path of the Gods or in Italian, “Sentiero degli Dei,” is a spectacular walking trail on the Amalfi Coast that ends in Nocelle, above Positano. The path is almost 5 miles and takes about 3 hours, but it is an easy trail to hike if you walk from Agerola to Nocelle as the route, in this direction, runs downhill with magnificent views of the Amalfi Coast and the island of Capri.

Bridge of Sighs

+   Know more

Bridge of Sighs

Built in 1600, the Bridge of Sights connects the interrogation rooms in the Doge’s Palace to the New Prison across the Rio di Palazzo. It was designed by Antonio Contino whose uncle Antonio da Ponte had designed the Rialto Bridge. According to one theory the name of the bridge comes from the suggestion that prisoners would “sigh” at their final view of beautiful Venice through the window on their way to the executioner. In reality, the days of summary executions were over by the time the bridge was built and the cells under the palace roof were occupied mostly by small-time criminals
